Missions & Evangelism

Missions and Evangelism form a core pillar at AIC Milimani, driving the church’s commitment to spreading the love of Christ and impacting the world. Over the past five years, the Missions Ministry, led by Dr. Victor Boiyo, has seen remarkable spiritual growth within the congregation as members are trained and given opportunities for practical ministry through missions. 

The ministry’s mission outreach has expanded beyond Kenya’s borders, engaging in impactful programs including work in prisons. Locally, efforts focus on diverse community needs such as building schools, supporting literacy initiatives, and conducting relief food programs. A key aspect is the continuous fulfillment of the core mission of spreading the gospel, with mentorship programs aimed at nurturing spiritual growth. 

The Youth Ministry also actively engages in outreach, partnering with high schools for gospel outreach and mentorship, and conducting CSR activities among vulnerable groups like incarcerated children, children’s homes residents, older people, and local police stations. The Women’s Ministry has conducted successful missions and evangelism outreach to needy communities, providing spiritual and material support. The acquisition of a ministry vehicle has expanded the church’s ability to reach more people and serve those in need more effectively. 

Partnerships are crucial to the ministry’s success, with collaborations with organizations like AIMair, Vision, BTL, and Tirrim enhancing efficiency, especially in difficult-to-reach areas. Church members are encouraged to be actively involved through prayer, financial contributions, and hands-on participation. 

Training and short-term mission experiences provide practical exposure, and technology is used for member preparation and interaction with missionaries. The focus on missions aligns with the church’s broader strategy on evangelism and reflects the church’s vision and mission to make a tangible difference in lives across Kenya and beyond.
