Position / Role in the Church
Rev. Hosea Mitei serves as an Associate Pastor at AIC Milimani, where he supports family ministry, youth mentorship, and biblical discipleship. He is also the Head of Chaplaincy at the University of Nairobi, ministering to over 60,000 students and staff across diverse campuses and faiths.
Biography
Rev. Hosea Kiprono Arap Mitei is a seasoned minister who serves both the church and the academic world. As Associate Pastor at AIC Milimani, he is known for his humility, Bible-centered teaching, and pastoral mentoring. His sermons often focus on integrity, godly parenting, and real-life application of faith.
He is especially recognized for his powerful teaching series on “Insignificant and Nameless People in the Bible Who Left Immense Impact by Focusing on God.” Through this lens, he challenges believers to pursue quiet obedience and faithful service, regardless of public recognition.
In addition to his church role, Rev. Mitei is the Head of Chaplaincy at the University of Nairobi, where he leads spiritual programming, counseling, interfaith dialogue, and institutional pastoral care. He provides guidance to students and faculty, creating inclusive spaces for spiritual growth across the university’s many campuses (uonbi.ac.ke).
Rev. Mitei also speaks frequently on practical Christian living, encouraging believers to develop godly character and soft skills in their families and workspaces. His messages are regularly featured on AIC Milimani’s social media platforms.
He is married to Salome, and together they are blessed with three children.
