Matthew Okeyo

Position / Role in the Church

Rev. Mathew Okeyo serves as an associate Pastor at AIC Milimani, while also directing AICCAD, the children and community development agency of AIC Kenya.

Biography

Rev. Okeyo is a dynamic church leader and social-impact practitioner. Within AIC Milimani, he provides pastoral guidance, teaching, and leadership to nurture spiritually mature communities. Concurrently, as CEO of AICCAD, he drives programs across Kenya that support orphans, widows, youth, and vulnerable communities through education, sponsorship, food security, and vocational training.

Under his leadership, AICCAD’s innovative development model leverages self-help groups (SHGs) to empower women, youth, and children, enabling savings, community dialogue, skills development, and personal transformation. Programs span across several counties and address issues like poverty alleviation, HIV/AIDS awareness, and sustainable livelihoods via TVET, agriculture, and nutrition initiatives.

In the pulpit, Rev. Okeyo frequently addresses themes such as disappointment, identity, healing, mission, and personal calling. His messages focus on reflecting a heart for real-life relevance and kingdom purpose.

As a ministry leader, he promotes faithful stewardship, intentional service, and personal impact aligned with biblical values. His leadership in both pastoral and development spheres exemplifies integrated ministry that embodies the gospel’s transforming power in both individuals and communities.

Rev. Okeyo is married to Miriam, and together are blessed with three children.
